Avery-Copp House Museum

Take your own picture with our historic paper moon photo prop, along with old-fashioned games for children, scavenger hunt, and self-guided exploration of museum first floor and kitchen.

Bill Memorial Library

The Friends of BML will hold a Pop-Up Book Sale featuring DVDs and books for children and teens. Proceeds benefit the Bill Memorial Library.

Ebenezer Avery House

The Ebenezer Avery House and Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Groton Bank Day. Enjoy free tours of 18th century house museum.

Fort Griswold Battlefield

Climb 166 steps to the top of the Groton Monument, Museum Open House, and tours of Fort Griswold at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Meet Abby Slocomb, designer of the CT State flag at noon.

Groton Congregational Church

The Groton Congregational Church has more thanr 300 years of history! In 1702 it was established as the First Church of Christ, Congregational of Groton, Connecticut. Learn about the history of the Congregation and see the beautiful Tiffany window on a tour of this beautiful historic church.

Submarine Veterans WWII Memorial East

Visit the conning tower of the WWII submarine USS Flasher and the Wall of Honor which pays homage to the submarines and submariners lost during WWII

Thames River Heritage Park

Water Taxi transportation will be offering $5 rides on the hop-on hop-off harbor cruise running from 11:40 am to 6:20 pm. Those passengers who show proof of being fully vaccinated may ride for free.
